Having studied Christian Theology, achieving my Masters in the subject, I am familiar with Christian eschatology (the study of the afterlife). However I was raised Jewish and know little of my Jewish heritage. My son, who died 5 1/2 years ago, is buried in a Jewish Cemetery. The disconnect between the Christian Heaven and finding my son is probably because I never learned of the Jewish afterlife and my son was extremely proud of his Jewish heritage. Thus feeling out of place in the Christian theological world.
I am asking anyone who reads this to please leave a comment with the name of an adequate resource of the Jewish afterlife for the purposes of study. Anything works; an internet site, a book, a sermon……preferably a book.
Also f you know something about this subject please feel free to leave that in the comment section as well. My brother was a scholar but he passed away also. I will be thrilled to come back here tomorrow and find something to help guide me. I need a place where I can be with my son, meet with him so to speak.
Thank you in advance.
